The Society of Cosmetic Chemists Southeast Chapter 2024 Scholarship

The Southeast Chapter of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) is pleased to announce the acceptance of applications for the 2024 Chapter Scholarship.  The scholarship supports students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in chemical, physical, medical, pharmaceutical, biological, or related sciences and technologies, relative to the cosmetics and personal care industry. One $1,500 scholarship will be awarded this year. The application period will open beginning October 28, 2024, and close on November 20, 2024. The Scholarship Selection Committee will select and notify the awardees by November 27, 2024.

Congratulate the winner of our Southeast Chapter 2023 Scholarship sponsored by J. Strickland & Co., Sharae Gipson. Sharae plans to join us for this Officer Installation meeting. She is a chemistry major in the School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff, majoring in Chemistry/ Biochemistry with a minor in Business. She is a member of the NextGen Advisory Committee of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, and Ambassador, Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Program, a Fellow of L’Oreal Diverse Future Leaders, and a member of the American Chemical Society.
