Speaker: Andrew Robertson, Technical Applications Researcher

Topic: Starches and How to Deliver Different Textures in Formulations

About the Speaker: Andrew Robertson is a Senior Researcher with Nouryon working in the Personal Care group as a vital member of the Technical Service and Applications Team. As a member of the Tech Service Team, Andrew has several roles, his favorite of which being the opportunity to leverage his expertise of Nouryon’s products to develop finished formulations ranging from Aerosol Dry Shampoos to Sunscreens and everything else under the sun (pun very much intended). Holding a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, Andrew is also well versed in the engineered componentry and processes that go into product development. When not hard at work on the lab bench or behind a podium, Andrew enjoys traveling with his family, baking, singing along to T.Swift at the top of his lungs (and the despair of his wife and daughter), a hot cup of coffee on a quiet morning, long walks on the beach at sunset, and cuddling next to a campfire gazing at the stars in the moonlit night while making s’mores under a cozy blanket.
