Cancellations must be made in writing to the National Office at info@scconline.org by 11:59pm ET on the following dates and will be processed in accordance with the following policy, without exception: 

• Through 09/01/26:  Registration fee paid less a $150.00 administrative fee will be refunded. 
• Between 09/02/26 and 10/01/26: Registration fee paid less a $250.00 administrative fee will be refunded. 
• Beginning 10/02/26: NO refunds will be issued. You may, however, transfer your registration to another person in accordance with the Badge Transfer Policy set forth below.

Refunds approved by SCC will be issued within 10 business days via the original payment form, subject to the terms set forth above.  

Registration Transfer Policy

Should you need to transfer your badge/registration to another person, notification must be made in writing to info@scconline.org by 11:59pm ET on the following dates and will be processed in accordance with the following policy, without exception:

• Through 10/16/26:  no fee will be assessed.
• Between 10/17/26 and 11/20/26:  a $150.00 administrative fee will be assessed. 
• Beginning 11/21/26:  a $250.00 administrative fee will be assessed. 

EACH ATTENDEE MUST BE REGISTERED INDIVIDUALLY FOR THE DAY(S) ON WHICH THEY WILL ATTEND; "SPLITTING" A FULL ACCESS REGSITRATION BETWEEN MULTIPLE ATTENDEES IS NOT PERMITTED.

Badge Reprint Policy

Badges are available for pick-up at the registration desk. You MUST wear your name badge while in the conference area of the hotel. Access will not be granted to those without badges. EACH ATTENDEE MUST BE REGISTERED INDIVIDUALLY FOR THE DAY(S) ON WHICH THEY WILL ATTEND; "SPLITTING" A FULL ACCESS REGSITRATION BETWEEN MULTIPLE ATTENDEES IS NOT PERMITTED.

PLEASE NOTE: THERE IS A REPLACEMENT FEE OF $250 TO REPRINT ANY NAME BADGE. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY. Lost, forgotten, or misplaced badges are subject to the reprint fee.  If your badge becomes damaged, you must bring the damaged one to the registration desk for a complimentary reprint.

Photo Release Policy

The sessions and events at the SCC Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase (the "Event") may be electronically recorded or photographed.  By attending the Event, you grant in perpetuity to the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (“SCC”) and its representatives, successors, or assigns, irrevocable rights, permissions, and licenses to publish, reproduce, distribute, and/or otherwise make use of your name and any still or moving photographic image, likeness, or sound recording of you in connection with the Event.
