National Board Service Candidate Application

Interested parties for all board positions should complete the application below.  Completed applications must be submitted by Monday, June 1, 2026 (11:59pm ET).

Please review the published criteria for each position to ensure that you meet the eligibility requirements prior to completing the application.

Official term of office begins January 1, 2027.

  • Candidates should discuss with, and gain the support of, their employer for the time commitment and expense associated with board service.  Limited financial support, within the expense policy, is available from SCC for your participation on the board.
  • Elected 2027 board members will be installed at the President's Luncheon on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, during the SCC 80th Annual Scientific Meeting & Showcase.  
  • Newly-elected members will be invited to, and are strongly encouraged, to attend the Thursday, December 3, 2026, board meeting immediately preceding their official service term start date.  
  • Attendance at this meeting is at the expense of the newly elected board member; per the expense policy, SCC only reimburses current board members for attendance.
