Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award

The Florence Wall Women in Cosmetic Chemistry Award recognizes a woman for significant accomplishments in the cosmetic industry through technical contributions, leadership skills, and business excellence.


All completed nomination forms MUST be submitted by July 20, 2026 (11:59PM ET).

Eligibility & Judging Criteria

The following criteria shall be considered in the selection and evaluation of nominees:

  • Award is to be presented every year* provided a deserving awardee is identified.
  • Is to be awarded to an individual only once.
  • SCC Membership is preferred, but not required.
  • Nominee demonstrates inspiration of others through her work.
  • Nominee possesses and demonstrates an unwavering passion for cosmetic science.
  • Nominee’s contributions to the field of cosmetic science include patents, publications, and technical presentations.

Selection of Awardee

All complete nominations received by the published deadline are evaluated by the Achievement Awards Committee.  No late submissions will be considered.  The Committee, in its sole discretion, uses both objective and subjective means in the evaluation process including, but not limited to: quality of submission; completeness of submission; and demonstrated match to the published award criteria.  Nominations are evaluated individually and subsequently ranked by the Committee against all other submissions received that given year.  In its sole discretion, Committee reserves the right to request additional information regarding any nominee but is not obligated to do so.  The Committee does not provide feedback to nominees.  For all awardee selections, the Committee’s decision is final and non-appealable.
 

Note :  the nomination form cannot be saved and should be completed in one session. You may want to intially write your submission information in a separate document, so that you have a backup should you encounter any issues while submitting your nomination.
