Education Award

The SCC Education Award was established by the Board of Directors in 2024 to recognize SCC members who are making outstanding contributions to the field of cosmetic science education and mentorship.

All completed nomination forms MUST be returned by July 15, 2024.
Nominations are reviewed and finalized by the Achievement Awards Committee.

Eligibility & Judging Criteria

The following criteria shall be considered in the selection and evaluation of nominees:

• Nominees must be SCC members in good standing at time of nomination.
• Nominee demonstrates outstanding contributions made to the field of cosmetic science education, which may include:
  • the SCC’s Continuing Education Program.
  • a cosmetic science program at a recognized college or university.
  • mentorship of future generations of cosmetic industry professionals.
  • an extended body of educational work over the span of a career.
  • exceptional educational contributions made at a specific point in time.
• Presented at the Annual Scientific Meeting provided a deserving awardee is selected.
• May be awarded to an individual not more than twice, with at least 10 years between awards.

Note :  the nomination form cannot be saved and should be completed in one session.
