Biography

Built in 1945, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists' mission is to share scientific information, innovation, and research in the cosmetics and personal care and industry through education, events, and publications.  By setting high ethical, professional, and educational standards, we improve the qualifications and caliber of cosmetic scientists everywhere.

Governed by a 17-member Board of Directors, and comprised of association volunteer leaders across our 19 Chapters in the Greater North America, the SCC is committed to our mission and position ourselves to have a leading role in addressing the grand challenges and opportunities in the personal care and cosmetic science industry of today and beyond.
