Zach Humbert - Chair

Zach Humbert is an Associate Fellow at Estee Lauder Companies. He joined ELC in March 2016 and has worked exclusively in Raw Material Management, with an emphasis on qualifying new raw materials (for Darphin, Estee Lauder make-up, make-up innovation, etc.). He is also a manager of business critical projects utilizing small task forces within Raw Material Management to support corporate and Regulatory/Safety/Analytical initiatives. He has worked extensively to increase accuracy/efficiency of processes via proposing and testing system enhancements.

Previously, Zach worked for 4 years at Johnson and Johnson in their Raw Material Center governing existing raw materials and managing a project to harmonize their entire global raw material portfolio. He was born and raised in southern New Jersey, about a half hour from Philadephia, where all of his sports loyalties lie. Zach received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University. He moved to Long Island over almost 8 years ago when he joined ELC, and has been enjoying himself here since (although hates the traffic).

Zach has been a member of LISCC since 2016. Outside of work, Zach can most likely be found at the beach (playing volleyball or body-surfing), at a concert, or a brewery. He loves traveling, watching his sports teams with his family/friends, animals (step- dad to an awesome cat named Biddy), video games, tacos, and a good happy hour.

Lydia Fernandez - Chair Elect

Lydia Fernandez is a Scientist at The Estee Lauder Companies. She joined ELC in March of 2020 and is an active member of their Business Continuity Lab (BCL). With the team she helps troubleshoot production issues and is the point contact person for the production issues team at Estee Lauder’s United Kingdom plant. In her role, she works collaboratively with other R&D support groups to protect ELC’s legacy products.

Lydia is a native New Yorker, growing up on Long Island. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Engineering Chemistry from State University of New York (SUNY) Stony Brook and her master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Columbia University.

Lydia has been a member of the LISCC since 2022, but more recently has been Secretary and committee member for the LISCC Annual Summer Picnic. When she’s not working, Lydia can most likely be found training for a half marathon or at a ballroom dance competition. She loves knitting, going to hockey games, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones (including her two cats).

Tina Lambert - Treasurer

Tina Lambert is a Scientist at Estee Lauder Companies. She joined Estee Lauder in February 2018 as a skincare formulator and has been a member of LISCC for 4 years. Tina was born and raised on Long Island and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology specializing in Quantitative Biology and Bioinformatics from Stony Brook University.

Jenny Morrissey - Treasurer Elect

As an Associate Director on the Business Continuity Lab team at Estee Lauder Companies (ELC), Jenny project manages several streams, focusing on reformulations. Prior to ELC, Jenny has worked in both contract manufacturing at RMJ and ChemAid Labs (supporting many prestigious hair and skincare brands) and at Johnson and Johnson (supporting currently marketed products and new development). Originally from Pittsburgh, PA and a more recent transplant from New Jersey, she has a Bachelors in Biology from the College of Saint Elizabeth and a Masters in Cosmetic Science from the University of Cincinnati. Last year, Jenny had the privilege to work with the LISCC leadership team on the 35th Anniversary committee overseeing the budget. She loves to crunch numbers and looks forward to the opportunity to support the LISCC team and all its great members!

Josselyn Fernandez Mancia - Secretary

Josselyn is currently a Scientist in the Origins/Aveda Skincare Lab. She joined the Estee Lauder Companies in 2021.

Josselyn holds a B.S in Biology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.

Josselyn has been member of the SCC for 2 years. She is also an active member of the Research Park Pink Ribbon Task Force. In addition, she is a member of the Hispanic Connections Employee Resource Group. Recently, she participated in the 2023 filming program “Huellas” designated to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. Lastly, she has also become a member of Wisdom, Innovation & Spirit of ELC or WISE Employee Resource Group.

Agnes Bykuc - House Chair

Agnes Bykuc, IMCD Technical Account Manager at IMCD US LLC works closely with R&D to help advance and support innovative new skin and hair care products. Agnes earned a master’s in science, minor in Chemical Engineering degree from Technical University in Szczecin, Poland and began her career working for Bristol Mayer Squibb, Clairol Division, Stamford CT as an entry level formulator chemist.

Agnes’ enthusiasm and interest in the personal care industry grew as she continued to develop her formulating skills as a chemist at Artek and L’Oreal. In 2004 Agnes was offered a position as a Sales Manager at Protameen Chemicals. Last 16 years Agnes worked as a Key Account Manager for Protameen Chemicals, BASF, DKSH, Vantage Chemicals. Current responsibility as a Technical Account Manager at IMCD is sales and providing technical guidance to the R&D and Product Development teams in NY, NJ ,CT ,complete projects, confidential contracts, and supply agreements by interaction with client’s purchasing, marketing, and senior management.

Agnes lives in Bay shore NY with her two sons Michael and Nicholas. Michael is in college and pursuing a career to become a pilot, Nick started High School and joined JV football team. She has participated in the LISCC, NYSCC since 2004.
