Event Details:

OVSCC & LESCC Joint Meeting 2025 – Formulation Day

Join the Ohio Valley SCC and Lake Erie SCC chapters for a collaborative, hands-on Formulation Day on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, in Columbus, OH at the KDC/One Groveport location (4400 S Hamilton Rd, Groveport, OH 43125). This special event brings together professionals from across the personal care and cosmetic science community for an engaging afternoon of networking, learning, and formulation.

Event Highlights:

• Interactive Lab Demonstration: Attendees will create their own 50mL sample of a shampoo, guided by formulation expert Valentina Carr.
• Ingredient Spotlights: Participating suppliers will showcase their ingredients during the formulation process.
• Lab Safety Glasses Provided (attendees may also bring their own).
• Swag Bags: Attendees will receive curated samples and promotional items from sponsoring companies.
• Lunch: Hosted off-site at a nearby location (details to follow shortly).

Venue & Logistics:

• Hosted at KDC-One(4400 S Hamilton Rd, Groveport, OH 43125)
• All batching equipment and lab supplies provided by KDC.
• Event will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, starting with lunch and networking, followed by the formulation session.

Attire: Lab-safe attire required. Closed-toe shoes, long pants, and safety glasses (provided if needed).

• Security Check-In: A security check-in station will be located at KDC. If you plan to bring a bag, please ensure it is a clear bag to comply with security protocols.
• Lunch Attendance & Dietary Needs: If you plan to attend lunch and have any dietary restrictions or requirements, please email us directly so we can accommodate your needs.
• Facility Access & Badging: All individuals entering or exiting the facility must wear a badge at all times. If you need to leave and return during the event, you may be required to coordinate with security for re-entry.
