With a master’s degree in Neurosciences and a PhD in Biomolecules & Therapeutic Pharmacology, I have over 19 years of expertise in skin research, specializing in peptides and employing a Design Thinking mindset. My career began with pioneering work on the development of medical devices for skin repair, which led me to join Lucas Meyer Cosmetics’ R&D team in 2014.

For five years, I led the development of a biological screening platform and managed the creation of active ingredients. In 2019, I was appointed to oversee the company’s global R&D department, where I spearheaded the innovation of raw materials—active ingredients, functional ingredients, and delivery systems—through sourcing, design, testing, and production. This work aimed to drive the formulation of sustainable, cutting-edge cosmetics ingredients.

Following the acquisition of Lucas Meyer Cosmetics by Clariant, I embraced the challenge of merging two global R&D teams (30 members across multiple locations) with different expertise to continue driving innovation in the field.
