Melissa Bergman is currently the Actives Business Development Manager at Solabia USA. Melissa graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a focus in Pharmacology and Toxicology. After graduation, she pursued a career in developing specialty functional ingredients at Applechem, Inc. where she worked on the development of and continuous technical support for rheology modifiers, pigment dispersant aids, and emollient technologies. When Applechem, Inc. was acquired by Solabia USA in 2023, she was given the opportunity to combine both the chemical background required for functional raw material development and a personal passion for biology and skin science. Now as Actives Business Development Manager, she provides technical support and education to Solabia Groups North American customers.
