Dr. Frédéric Nunzi

SGS IDEA Lab

Frédéric Nunzi holds a PhD in Cell Biology and Microbiology from the University of Provence – France (1993) and has been leading SGS IDEA Lab, part of the SGS Group, since 2005. At SGS IDEA Lab, he played a key role in implementing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and developing regulatory in vitro toxicology tests, particularly in genetic toxicology and sensitization. Since late 2024, he also oversees the clinical department at SGS IDEA. With over 14 years as a Eurotox-certified expert, Frédéric provides expert advice to clients on the selection and interpretation of in vitro tests for cosmetic products, covering both toxicological and efficacy assessments. His scientific leadership and regulatory expertise have been instrumental in advancing in vitro and solar testing capabilities, making him a valuable resource for cosmetic product safety and performance evaluation.
