After training in laboratories in UK & US, Dr Alba Cico obtained her PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology in France from Paris Sorbonne Cité University. She joined a start-up specialized in molecular biology where she developed innovative kits for research. She has been working in Croda for 6 years where she now leads a research team for Beauty Actives. Her team focuses efficacy tests and on deciphering the mechanisms of action of active ingredients.
