Dr. Larry Weiss

Symbiome

Larry Weiss is the CEO and Founder of Weiss Bioscience, Inc., a San Francisco-based microbiome research and development company and the manufacturer of Symbiome skincare products.  Before that, he was Founding Chief Medical Officer at AOBiome, formulating AOB-101, the first live topical therapeutic, and Mother Dirt AO Mist, the first probiotic cosmetic.  While at AOBiome, he ran the first successful remote clinical trial in collaboration with Science 37. 

He has an extensive background in natural products chemistry, microbiology, clinical medicine, biophysics, pharmaceutical, and skin care product development. He has an MD from Stanford University and a BS in Biochemistry from Cornell University. He has over 20 patents and is published in chemistry, electrophysiology, clinical pharmacology, and the microbiome.
