Payment for participation in the SCC Certificate Program must be made in full at the time of enrollment. SCC does not offer payment plans for Certificate Program enrollment fees.
Requests for withdrawal from the SCC Certificate Program must be made in writing to education@scconline.org within fourteen (14) calendar days of the original purchase date. All withdrawal requests within this time frame will be processed less a $500 administrative fee. After this time, NO REFUNDS will be made.
If a withdrawal is requested within the aforementioned guidelines but the participant has accessed program content, the participant will forfeit the $500 administrative fee plus the standard course enrollment expense for any content accessed.
Deferral of SCC Certificate Program completion (up to one year) may be requested by participant, subject to program track availability the following year. Deferral requests must be made in writing to education@scconline.org by March 1st of the calendar year for deferral to the following program year.
A “program year” generally begins in the summer and runs through the following year's spring.
The courses for the SCC Certificate Program (the "program") may be electronically recorded or photographed. By enrolling for the program, you grant in perpetuity to the Society of Cosmetic Chemists (“SCC”) and its representatives, successors, or assigns, irrevocable rights, permissions, and licenses to publish, reproduce, distribute, and/or otherwise make use of your name and any still or moving photographic image, likeness, or sound recording of you in connection with the Event.
