2nd Annual Green Technologies Symposium 2nd Annual Green Technologies Symposium Fermentation in Personal Care Mid-Atlantic Chapter Webmaster / Wednesday, July 8, 2026 0 0 A full day celebrating the science and creativity of fermentation! September 9, 2026, 12:30 PM On September 9, 2026, at 12:30 PM, we gathered for a full day celebrating the science and creativity of fermentation! The day started at the 2nd Annual Green Technologies Symposium: Fermentation in Personal Care, where researchers, industry professionals, and innovators explored how fermentation is transforming sustainable personal care ingredients and products. In honor of Sourdough September, we kept the fermentation theme going with a hands-on Sourdough Starter-Making Class. Participants learned the basics of creating and maintaining their own sourdough starter to take home and begin their bread-baking journey. We wrapped up the day with a casual Happy Hour at Kite & Key, where attendees continued conversations, networked with fellow participants, and unwound over food and drinks in a relaxed setting. Whether attendees were passionate about green technology, fascinated by fermentation, or simply looking to connect with others who shared their interests, this lineup offered something for everyone. Thank you to everyone who made it out—we loved seeing you there! Read more
