Mara Reed

Chair Elect

Mara is the Director of Research and Development at Artisan Labs and serves on its board of directors. She heads all R&D, Compounding, and Regulatory activities and enjoys bringing client product visions to life. She prioritizes community outreach through Artisan Labs, including setting up a STEM booth at local festivals, hosting high school field trips to learn about our unique industry, and funding scholarships for local students interested in pursuing STEM fields. Mara earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, and a Graduate Certificate in Cosmetic Science at the University of Cincinnati (2023). Outside of work, she can be found building blanket forts with her two children and baking all manner of desserts
