September Golf Outing and Technical Meeting 2026 - Registration and Itinerary

3rd SCCMI Meeting of the Year

Join us for our largest event of the year! Our September Technical meeting is a multi-day mult-venu event. We will be hosting our technical meeting on the evening of the 23rd at The Mitten Brewery in downtown Grand Rapids with our golf outing the morning of the 24th at Candlestone Golf & Resort in Belding just outside of Grand Rapids.

We have two expert speakers lined up for our technical presentations, which will focus on sunscreen actives and their applications, which is a very timely topic in light of the new FDA approved sunscreen active.

Here is our event schedule, we'd love if you can attend both but we have registration options if you can only attend one!

September 23: The Mitten Brewing Company (527 Leonard St NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504)

4:00-4:30 - Registration and networking

4:30-4:45 - Chapter Announcements and Updates

4:45-5:30 - First Speaker

5:30-6:15 - Second Speaker

6:15 - Dinner Served

6:15-7:00 - Networking and Social Time

September 24: Candlestong Inn & Resort (8100 Storey Rd, Belding, MI 48809)

9:00-10:00 - Registration and light refreshments

10:00AM - Tee off

10:00-1:00 - 9 hole scramble with teams of 4

1:00-2:00 - Lunch and refreshments served at clubhouse

The cart size can go up to 4 because we know some people want to pay for their whole team. We look forward to seeing you on the green!

By promoting research in cosmetic science and industry, and by setting high ethical, professional and educational standards, we reach our goal of improving the qualifications of cosmetic scientists.

Our mission is to further the interests and recognition of cosmetic scientists while maintaining the confidence of the public in the cosmetic and toiletries industry.

The chapter conducts quarterly meetings around the great state of Michigan, each featuring industry speakers presenting the latest innovations and topics within the cosmetic industry. In addition, the chapter also host a biennial 1-day scientific symposium on the latest topics impacting the global cosmetics industry.
