Work Term Placements Needed for Seneca Polytechnic Cosmetic Science Grad Certificate Program

4-month work-term placements from January to April 2027

Students of Seneca Polytechnic's Cosmetic Science Graduate Certificate Program are currently looking for 4-month work-term placements from January to April 2027.

By the time they begin their placements, students will have completed their first term and gained an understanding of key areas including:

• Formulation processes for emulsions and colour cosmetics
• Global cosmetic regulations and industry challenges
• Biological targets
• Safety evaluation

We are calling on all organizations across cosmetic manufacturing, formulation, R&D, regulatory, quality, product development, raw materials and the broader personal care industry to consider bringing a student onto your team.

These placements give students an opportunity to take what they’ve learned and apply it in the real world, while giving our industry an opportunity to develop the next generation of Canadian Cosmetic Science professionals.

Let’s keep the momentum going and help create meaningful opportunities for this next generation of talent.

If your company may be able to offer a placement, or you know someone who can; please share this with your network.

For information about the program, hiring process and available funding opportunities, please contact Zahra Hirji, Work-Integrated Learning Coordinator, at zahra.hirji@senecapolytechnic.ca.
