What advice would you give your younger self who is just starting out in the industry?
One failed experiment doesn’t define you; the possibilities are endless.
What made you pursue a career in the cosmetics/personal care industry?
I pursued a career in cosmetics because of my experience as an intern for the Estee Lauder Companies.
What is the favorite part of your job?
The best part of my job is the instant gratification that you have created a product in a day, whether it is successful or not.
What has been your most recent professional accomplishment?
I am working toward my Masters of Science.
How has membership in the SCC been of value to you?
I did not go to school for cosmetic science therefore, the SCC has given me the opportunity to take courses to develop my understanding of cosmetic chemistry.
What is a fun fact about yourself, outside of the SCC and your professional life?
Outside of my professional life, I spend most of my time traveling to see different natural wonders of the world.
