BioScience Laboratories (BSLI) is a laboratory testing facility for hire specializing in numerous testing services and extensive testing capabilities. We have been in Bozeman, MT for over 27 Years and hosts 6 dedicated testing laboratories to meet your precise testing needs.

Clinical Testing Laboratory

Our clinical testing laboratory offers a dedicated subject recruitment team to minimize the lead time for clinical studies. All clinical studies are also reviewed by a third party Institutional Review Board (IRB) to ensure subject safety and that unexpected and/or untoward physical reactions of any kind experienced by subjects during the course of a clinical study, termed Adverse Events (AEs), are addressed, treated, and resolved appropriately.

Our start-to-finish solution for clinical trials begins with understanding your end goals for the study and aiding in the study design accordingly. Throughout the project we remain in on-going contact with our sponsors to ensure that the project is managed with your best interest in mind.

At the end of each study, our clinical study team develops a final report package that includes the test protocol, study data, applicable statistical analysis and a summary report. Each final report package is reviewed by our Quality Assurance department and senior scientific staff prior to finalization.

Cosmetic Testing Laboratory

Our cosmetic testing laboratory works closely with our clinical testing laboratory to develop high quality and time effective studies to meet your precise data requirements. We specialize in highly custom study development, facilitated by our team of experts, to either support your products specific claims or ensure your products safety prior to market introduction.

Because of the increasing awareness of the importance of skincare, BSLI established a separate Skin Technology Center division to provide greater focus on studies for evaluation of skincare products, provide faster project turn-around time, and expand testing capabilities. Standard, validated protocols have been developed to substantiate a wide variety of skincare product claims. Protocols are custom designed to support specific needs and test requirements.

In-Vitro Testing Laboratory

Scientists in our In-Vitro testing labs are well trained on ASTM, AATCC, AOAC, CLSI and EN standard methods. The efficacy testing services of this laboratory include MIC/MBC, biofilm prevention and removal, time-kill kinetics, cleanroom disinfectant validation, the zone of inhibition and custom efficacy studies for disinfectants, antimicrobials and other products requiring EPA registrations and FDA 510(k) submissions. Studies in our in-vitro lab can also be designed and executed to differentiate existing products within the market and support unique label claims.

BioScience provides a wide scope of in-vitro test evaluation possibilities from one to two microorganism screening evaluations to evaluations using more than 1,500 ATCC strains and clinical isolates.

Our In-Vitro Laboratory uses tissue models prepared by the company leading the development of alternatives to animal testing methods to perform safety testing on cosmetics, surfactant-based products, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals as well as products for personal care, hair care, and household cleaning. These tests include Ocular Irritation, Skin Irritation, Dermal Corrosion, Oral Irritation, and Cytotoxicity.

Virology Testing Laboratory

BioScience Laboratories assists clients with new product development, R&D projects, marketing claims, and supporting EPA, FDA, EU, and Health Canada label claims. Combining our virology capabilities with over 23 years of experience in conducting GLP and GCP compliant studies, we can offer a start-to-finish solution. Our personnel, led by Dr. Volha Teagle, are well-trained on the various ASTM, EN, and ISO standard methods and provide clinical and In-Vitro services. The Virology laboratory maintains a collection of over 50 different viral strains and cell cultures and offers high-throughput testing geared toward product formulators who are interested in testing multiple products for efficacy versus specific viruses.

Materials Testing Laboratory

BioScience Laboratories (BSLI) can support manufacturers of bandages, dressings, and their combinations with our Materials Testing services. The BSLI Laboratory is temperature and humidity controlled to provide you the testing conditions necessary to make your submission and marketing claims.
