Salon Testing: We have a fully staffed four-station hair salon where we can evaluate your product's performance, substantiate product claims or perform any other studies on consumers. MB Research, a major provider of toxicolgical evaluations, has been performing alternative bioassays for ocular and dermal irritation since 1989. Our extensive experience with the Chorioallantoic Membrane Vascular Assay (CAMVA), the Bovine Cornea Opacity and Permeability Assay (BCOP), EpiOcular and EpiDermal, insures the highest quality and reproducibility. North Cliff Consultants is a clinical research laboratory with 20 years experience in safety and efficacy testing. The study types and products tested includes, but is not limited to: antiperspirant testing, anti-dandruff shampoos, forearm, and leg, controlled-application tests (FCAT/LCAT), clinical mildeness tests, modified Draize RIPT, irritation studies (patch tests, eye sting tests), adult and baby diapers, acnegenicity, and home-use safety studies. Two testing facilities in the Greater Cincinnati area have five state-of-the-art environmentally controlled suites for skin evaluation by expert skin graders, and by bio-instrumentation.
