We belong to an industry that is constantly creating and innovating products that push the Cosmetics and Personal Care industry forward on a global scale. Yet like many other industries, we can face challenges that have the potential to stunt our growth. Fortunately, there is the Global Challenges Symposium on May 18, 2016 in Grand Rapids, MI. This event is hosted by the Michigan Chapter and features key industrial leaders discussing challenges of creating products for a global market and ways to overcome them. A few of these speakers include; Lauren Barger (Amway) discussing an Overview of Global Cosmetic Regulations, David Steinberg, FRAPS (Steinberg & Associates, Inc.) discussing The Challenges of Global Preservation of Cosmetics, Stacey House (KOBO) discussing the Global Trends of Sun Protection in Color Cosmetics and Mark Chandler discussing Formulating Skin Care for Global Appeal—Can it be done?, among many others. These sessions are just the tip of an informative day event – concurrent with the symposium are young scientist poster session and vendor exhibition. Not to mention an exclusive Social Event* on the preceding day, May 17, 2016 at Founders Brewing Company. More information, including event agenda, is available on the official Global Challenge Symposium flyer. So join the Michigan chapter, along with many of your colleagues, in Grand Rapids. Registration is now open and you won’t want to miss it!
*Social night registration is included in the Symposium registration fee. Social night only registration fee: $50.00
